Captain's Log:
Today it rained. Finally, the skies have opened up and God has given us the much needed rain. Hopefully all the brush fires will now be out, and my grass can turn green again. Maybe it will continue to rain for a couple of days.
Today in computer science class I lectured on RSS feeds and the language of html. Yesterday we went over a few MS Office products and some Macromedia products. This is all in preparation for their final June 1. We will see how those go.
I unlocked my fourth of five achievements last night in my FIFA World Cup soccer game. I am working on the last one, but it will take a while. I have also downloaded the demo for Call of Duty 2, and it looks great. I may have to go and get the game, if I find it on sale somewhere. We will see.
My three 19" widescreen flat-panal monitors should be coming in sometime this week. It will be nice having more than one monitor to work with again. I have been going crazy on one.
Slightly more than 24 days remain until the first game of the world cup in Germany. The first game will be Germany vs. Costa Rica. The entire schedule is here. I plan on watching all of England's, Germany's, and America's; and I would love to see Brazil lose.
Christy is in Holland, enjoying herself. This is her last training flight before she graduates at the end of next week. She has also visited Atlanta and Denver on training flight, but could not get off of the plane. Today, she gets the entire day to tour some city over there and then flies back to the US tomorrow. That is very cool.
I am having spaghetti tonight, and since I am very hungry, I think I am going to go and fix it right now.
Maybe tomorrow,
Lorimer
