Captain's Log:
I finally did my taxes yesterday, and can relax on that count for a while...another year that is. I get a nice return, so that will be good. I also recieved Ted's pictures from the trip yesterday, but have not gotten a chance to look at them. He took about 900 pics, so when combined with mine, that is almost 1300! That is awesome.
Another thing that I discovered in the month-long sabatical I took from weblogging; topofthepods podcast. Very hilarious. I love listening to those guys count down whatever top ten list they have for the day. Great entertainment.
Europe was awesome. Especially Milan, Italy. That was great. Unfortunately we did not get to see The Last Supper painting, but it was awesome just the same.
I am going to journalize the ten days of our trip, but not all in one post. Probably just one day per post.
Day 1 - Monday, March 27
I had finished packing very early in the morning and gotten a few hours sleep. We met at the church at noon to leave for the airport. It took quite a while to get through customs and check bags, but finally we all gathered at the gate about an hour before the flight was to leave. The flight to New York was about two and one half hours and then we had an hour long layover in JFK. The flight to Frankfurt was about eight hours long. I sat next to Luke, so it was not too bad. It was more fun than if I was sitting next to someone very large...we landed in Frankfurt at about eleven o'clock on Tuesday, which would be the second day.
I believe that is all for now. I will have more some other time.
Bye,
Lorimer
