Captain's Log:

England has put away their first game in the world cup with a 1-0 win over Paraguay! Great start. They really did not play that well today. The only goal came in the fifth minute when Beckham curved a shot off the head of Paraguay's captain. After that they really only had one or two good runs. Joe Cole was playing well as usual, as was Beckham, but the team looked a little off today. Ashley Cole was not playing well today at all. He turned the ball over a few times. At least they came away with a win though.

I went 1 for 2 yesterday on the predictions, but so far today I am back on track. Hopefully Sweden can pull a win over T & T.

More predictions:

June 11

Netherlands wins the first game
Mexico wins the second game
Portugal wins the third game

June 12

Italy wins the first game
USA draws with CZR
Brazil wins the third game

More predictions to come later. I have not really blogged in a long time, aside from yesterday's quick note. School is finally over and summer has come. I am working full time at the base again, which is nice. I heard DJ broke his hand yesterday...playing some "tackling game"...

On a better note, top of the pods has put out five or six shows in the last two weeks, which is good.

I have a picture of a very young Zaphod Beeblebrox...if you do not know who that is, read the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Here is the picture...

All right, I think that is all for now. I should get back to my new book--The Rapture, Left Behind Prequel.

Bye for now,

Lorimer
